We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, Dofur. We will pray with you and seek God's will together.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking the Lord's guidance. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, we must address that the Bible teaches marriage is a lifelong commitment. In Mark 10:9 (WEB), Jesus says, "What God has joined together, let no one separate." Divorce should not be the first consideration, but rather, seeking God's healing and restoration for your marriage.
Regarding your wife's psychological diseases, we should pray for her healing and your patience. In James 5:15 (WEB), we read, "The prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. If they have committed sins, they will be forgiven."
We must also address that it's not biblically appropriate to withhold the intimacy that should exist within a marriage. In 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 (WEB), Paul teaches that husbands and wives should not deprive each other, except for a time of prayer and fasting, and then come together again so that Satan won't tempt them.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dofur and his wife. Lord, we pray for healing for her psychological diseases, and for patience and wisdom for Dofur. We pray for restoration in their marriage, that they would turn to You and Your Word for guidance. We rebuke any spirit of division or discord, and we ask You to bring peace and unity between them. Help them to honor their marriage vows, and to live in a way that pleases You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Dofur, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. He is faithful, and He cares for you and your wife. Seek Christian counseling, pray together, and surround yourselves with a supportive church community. Remember, it is only in Jesus' name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
