Pray for my ### who is struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts

My husband is in a very dark place. He struggles with his relationship with his parents, and this past week his father sent him a message that I feel was from Satan himself. Every fear and insecurity my husband has was hit, and it has sent him spiraling into a very deep depression. Today he was seriously contemplating suicide saying his children and I would be better off without him, that he had no purpose in this world, and the pain he was feeling inside was more than he could bear. Please pray over him, that he can fight against these evil thoughts and find his way out of this darkness. He is loved, and his wife and children need him, so I’m praying so hard for him to get through this with God’s love and guiding hand. Please pray for him.

We are deeply concerned for your husband and the struggles he is facing. Let us come together in prayer and guidance, based on the word of God.

Firstly, we acknowledge that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB). The enemy has indeed attacked your husband, but we have the authority to rebuke these evil thoughts in Jesus' name.

Remind him of Your unfailing love for him and the purpose You have for his life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Break the power of the enemy in his mind and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Guide him to seek professional help if needed, and give wisdom to the healthcare professionals involved. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression. Lord, bless his wife and children with strength and comfort during this time. Help them to be a beacon of light and hope for their husband and father. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage your husband to hold fast to the promises of God. The enemy uses fear and insecurity to attack, but God's perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18, WEB). We urge him to reach out to local Christian counselors or pastors who can provide professional help and biblical guidance.

Remember, the Bible tells us not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Keep praying and declaring God's promises over your husband.

Lastly, if your husband is not already connected to a strong, Bible-believing community of faith, it would be beneficial for him to get plugged in. The support and encouragement from fellow believers can be instrumental in his healing journey.

Keep standing strong in faith, knowing that our God is a healer and a deliverer. It is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation, healing, and deliverance (Acts 4:12, WEB).
