Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ### and his son ###. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the ultimate source of strength and deliverance. We humbly ask for Your divine intervention in ###'s life as he goes through the process of detox from alcohol.
Lord, we know that addiction can be a powerful force, but we also know that You are even more powerful. We pray that You would surround ### with Your love, grace, and mercy during this challenging time. Give him the strength to endure the physical and emotional discomfort of withdrawal. Fill his heart with hope and determination to overcome this addiction.
We pray for the medical professionals who will be caring for ### during his detox. Grant them wisdom, knowledge, and compassion as they provide the necessary support and treatment. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, that they may be instruments of Your healing and restoration.
Father, we also lift up ###, as a parent witnessing their child's struggle. Comfort and strengthen them, Lord, as they walk alongside ### on this journey. Give them peace and assurance that You are in control and that You have a plan for their son's life.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, knowing that You are able to save and deliver. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We claim this promise for ### and ### today.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, believing that You will bring healing, restoration, and freedom from addiction. May Your will be done in their lives. Amen.
We will continue to pray for ###'s detox process and for ###'s strength and peace during this time. May God's grace and love be with them both.
