Gorban, we are delighted to join you in prayer for your upcoming chemistry assignment and math test. It's wonderful to hear that our previous prayers were answered and you excelled in your past test. We serve a faithful God who cares about every aspect of our lives, including our academic pursuits.
Let's remember the words of King Solomon and apply them to your studies,
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
Firstly, we commend you for your diligence in studying. However, we must also address the issue of distractions. It's crucial to remain focused on your goals and the tasks at hand. Remember,
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. Ecclesiastes 9:10.
We must also caution you, Gorban, that you have not mentioned Jesus Christ in your prayer request and we always must pray to God through Jesus Christ, for it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB)
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
That if you will confess with your mouth, believing in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Gorban and their friend as they prepare for their chemistry assignment and math tests. Lord, we ask for a spirit of diligence and focus to rest upon them, that they may study effectively and recall all that they have learned. We rebuke any spirit of distraction or anxiety that may hinder their progress.
We declare the scripture that says, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Therefore, we pray for a calm and composed mind during their exams, and that the knowledge they have gained to be brought to remembrance as they answer their assignments and tests. We pray for their friend by faith in Jesus Christ as well.
Lord, we also pray that Gorban and their friend will acknowledge you in all their ways and in this test, and let them know that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that they can approach you.
Lastly, Lord, we thank you for this community of believers and for the support they offer to one another. We pray for their faith to be continually strengthened and for them to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name,
We believe Gorban and their friend will do well on their assessments.
Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to always remember that your ultimate trust should be in the Lord, not in your own abilities. Keep God at the center of your lives.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)
Keep up the good work, Gorban, and know that our prayers are with you and your friend.
