Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

This gives us assurance that as we pray to God the Father in Jesus' name, God hears and responds.

Drunkenness can lead to many problems, affecting not only the individual but also their family and work. Therefore, we pray for deliverance and a change of heart for ###'s father.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s father to You. Lord, we pray that You will deliver him from his drinking habit, and grant him the strength and wisdom to concentrate on his work. Give him a renewed mind and heart, that he may find satisfaction and purpose in Your will.

We also pray for ###, that You will give them peace, patience, and wisdom as they support their father. Help them to be a light and encouragement, pointing their father to You, Lord.

We believe if ###'s father can have a living relationship with Jesus Christ, his life will be transformed for the better.
