Umaeg, we are with you in spirit, lifting up your requests to our Heavenly Father. We are encouraged that you have presented your prayers in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Umaeg and their spouse. Lord, You are the healer of our minds and bodies, and we ask that You heal Umaeg's thoughts and make them pure. May their mind be stayed on You, as You keep them in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3 WEB).
We pray for their marriage, that it would be strong and rooted in Your love. May their hearts be clean, and their lives be a testament to Your grace and mercy. As they enter this new year, we ask that it be a time of renewal, where old habits are left behind, and a new life in Christ is embraced.
Lord, cleanse them from all sin and shame, as You have promised in Your word, "though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isaiah 1:18 WEB). Grant them divine healing, a spirit of repentance, and full restoration, as they walk in Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Umaeg, to continue in prayer and the study of God's word. Remember that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Trust in God's promises and His power to transform your life.
In addition, guard your heart and your marriage, for "the LORD is the witness of the promise you have made to the wife of your youth. 'Malachi 2:14 WEB'" This is especially true to avoid lust and fornication or adultery in both your thoughts and your actions. Remember that God takes marriage seriously as described from the beginning, "“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?’ So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.” Matthew 19:4-6 WEB". We are warned to never break the marriage covenant and we are promised a spouse that is suitable for us. We are to "leave your father and your mother, and be joined to your wife, and be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 WEB"
Stand strong in your faith, and may the love of Christ fill your home and your heart. We are here with you in prayer, trusting that God will work mightily in your life.
