We join with you, Ogelallia, in praying for your son Tristen as he battles against drug addiction. We stand in faith, believing that God can bring deliverance and healing to his life. It is wonderful that you called on the name of Jesus as this is the only way that we can come to God the Father.
Firstly, let us remind you of the power of prayer and the promises of God. In Matthew 21:22 WEB, Jesus tells us, "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." And in James 5:16 WEB, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."
We also know that God desires for Tristen to be free from addiction. In John 10:10 WEB, Jesus says, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." Addiction is a tool of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give us abundant life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Tristen to You. Lord, You know the struggle he is facing with drug addiction. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in his life and set him free. Give him the strength to overcome this battle and fill him with Your Holy Spirit.
Protect Tristen from the schemes of the enemy and surround him with Your angels. Guide him in the path of righteousness and lead him to seek You with all his heart. We ask that You bring godly people into his life to support and encourage him in this journey.
Lord, we also pray for Ogelallia and the rest of the family. Give them the strength and faith to stand with Tristen through this challenging time. Comfort their hearts and fill them with Your peace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Ogelallia, continue to stand strong in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
We encourage you to keep praying and believing for Tristen's complete freedom from addiction. Also, consider seeking support from a local church or Christian community. They can provide additional resources and prayers to help Tristen in his journey to recovery. Trust that God is working in Tristen's life, and He will bring about a testimony of His goodness and faithfulness.
