We are truly moved by your love and concern for your son, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name, as He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father. It is only by the Name that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the son of our fellow Believer to You. We thank You for the victories he has already won and for Your constant presence in his life. We pray that You would surround him with Godly friends, who will encourage and support him in his new environment.
Father, we ask that You would guide him to a Godly wife, a woman who loves You and seeks to honor You with her life. Prepare them both for a marriage that reflects Your love and commitment to Your people, and Your purpose for marriage as outlined in Ephesians 5:22-33. Wife, submit yourselves to your own husband, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assemblage, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
We also pray for his job, Father. We ask that You would bless his efforts and help him to find favor with his employers.
Grant him the strength and endurance to excel in his coaching position, Lord, without compromising his personal time and relationships. May he desire to make friends and look for a spouse rather than be satisfied to be alone. Father, we pray You would provide him with opportunities to build meaningful relationships with other believers, and that he would find a solid community of faith to support and encourage him.
Lord, we ask that You would fill him with Your peace and acceptance, and help him to overcome any feelings of discouragement or hopelessness. Remind him of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Impress upon us all the importance of Remembering the Lord and keeping His commands, statutes, and laws with all our heart and with all our soul.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please encourage your son to call or find a pastor, mentor, or spiritual leader in the area and seek advice and prayer directly. Seek the righteous and they will be there. Also, remind your son that God honors and answers prayers, but we must also do what we can. Faith without works is dead.
Also, it is important for your son to know that he is a new creature in Christ. Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Behold, all things have become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB. His divorce is forgiven and no longer part of the new him.
Please do not forget to be thankful in prayer and to pray without ceasing.Therefore I say to you, Don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Matthew 6:25-26 WEB.
