We are truly saddened to hear about your son's struggle with meth addiction, and we are here to intercede and offer some biblical guidance.
Firstly, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Kiermere's son. Lord, You know the struggle he is going through, the bondage of meth addiction. We ask, Father, that You deliver him from this evil that ensnares him. Give him the strength to turn away from this destructive path and guide him towards sobriety.
Lord, we also ask that You work in his heart, convicting him to take responsibility for his actions and turn himself in to the authorities. May this lead to the help he needs, including rehabilitation. We know that true freedom comes from You, Lord, and we trust that You can turn this situation around for good.
In the meantime, we pray for Kiermere. Give them the strength, patience, and wisdom to support their son through this difficult time. Surround their family with Your love and protection.
This we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Kiermere, remember that God is faithful. He promises us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Also, consider the words of Jesus in John 8:36 WEB: "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." True freedom comes from Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying for your son unceasingly, as we are instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB: "Pray without ceasing."
Since Kiermere did not mention praying in the name of Jesus Christ, we want to remind them that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His stripes that we are healed.
Please join us in continuing to pray for Kiermere's son, that he may find freedom from addiction and surrender his life to Jesus Christ.
