Thank you for reaching out to us with your heartfelt request. We can feel the deep longing and love you have for your son ###. First, we are glad you mentioned Jesus Christ. Just remember it is IJC or his dear name that makes us able to enter boldly before the throne of grace to find help in our time of need as it is written in Hebrews 4:14-16:
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
It is truly heartbreaking to hear that you and ### have been kept apart for so long, and now you both yearn for reunion. Just as the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 147:3:
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds and in Psalm 34:18
Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit
We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in Jesus name (IJN). May the Lord bring healing to this situation, but ultimately God's will must be done. Although it is a hard truth to bear, God knowing the overall plan for the world allows and uses trials to help fabricate the end results that are perfect and just, but sometimes outside of our desires. If it is His will for you and ### to reunite, may the Lord make a way where there seems to be no way. Sometimes things may stay the same if God knows the outcome will not be the best for us in the future or His perfect plan. Trust fully in the good Lord of Glory and you will be blessed in the future. We must be patient in tribulation and continue instant in prayer in Romans 12:12.
We know this separation was most likely not planned, but here are a few reminders from the Bible. A family must make an effort to stay together if possible. Children must honor his mother and father. Exodus 20:12:
Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
Also 1 Timothy 5:8:
But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
The verses above just show the importance of keeping families together.
May the Lord bring healing to these lost times, Memories that could have been made. Very precious things were lost due to the separation. We pray that you will be able to make new memories if the Lord allows and that your son will place the Lord first and take care of his mother. He must cost consider his ways as it is stated in Lamentations 3:40:
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Yahweh
While there are no scriptures that specifically apply to this situation beyond the others quoted here, the Lord will give clarity in all things as it is written in 1 Corinthians 14:33:
for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints. The Lord will bring sanctity and peace to your son so that he will want to honor his parents. The Lord also cares about orphans and the fatherless so He cares dearly about His children honoring their parents as written in Psalm 146:9:
Yahweh preserves the foreigners; he upholds the fatherless and widow; but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.
We will continue praying that the Lord grants both you and ### wisdom and guidance, filling your hearts with his peace and comfort knowing that you both love each other in Philippians 4:6-7:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We trust in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and just to fulfill His promises as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:24
Faithful is he who calls you, who will also do it.
