We are glad to join you in prayer for your son, Apothnomai. It is our heartfelt desire that he comes to know Jesus and finds freedom from addiction. Let us remind you of God's promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
We rebuke the spirit of addiction that has held your son captive, for Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray that God fills the void in your son's heart with His love and presence. May the Holy Spirit reveal to him the truth of the Gospel and draw him to Jesus (John 6:44).
Let us pray together:
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for Apothnomai's son. Lord, You know his struggles and his pain. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in his life. Reveal Yourself to him, Lord, and give him a heart that yearns for You. Transform his life, God, just as You promised in Your Word. Surround him with supportive and godly influences, and give Apothnomai the wisdom and strength to guide her son in Your path.
Apothnomai, continue to trust in God's power to change your son's life. Stand on His promises, for He is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). Ensure that you share the Gospel with your son, for it is the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16). Remind him that it is only through Jesus Christ that we find new life and freedom (Acts 4:12).
Lastly, we encourage you to be patient and persistent in prayer, just as the widow in Luke 18:1-8 was. Keep believing that God is working in your son's life, even when you cannot see it. Trust in His timing and His ways.
