We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We're also so glad to see your acknowledgement of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. This is so important because as it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Also, as it says in John 16:23 WEB Jesus said "Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
We pray that God's will be done in your son's life, and that the Lord will provide him with the right job at the right time. We ask for your son to trust God and the plan that He has for his life. We ask God to prepare a way for your son, and that if it is His will, that your son is blessed with this job the decision-makers' hearts are softened.
Timothy 2:1-4 WEB says "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and giviing of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." So, we can pray for those in authority and those that will be interviewing him.
We stand with you in asking that God will soften the hearts of the people who will interview him and those who will work with him. We pray that God's favor will surround your son as he pursues this new opportunity. Our confidence is in the Lord, who is able to influence decisions and open doors that no one can shut.
We also pray for your son's patience and continued trust in God. We know that God's timing is perfect, and that He is working everything out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
From 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread." We encourage your son to be content and to be a hard worker in whatever job God provides.
We pray for prosperity for your son, trusting in Psalm 1:1-3 WEB "Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh's law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper."
It is also our prayer that as your son's financial situation improves, he will remember to honor the Lord with his substance and with the firstfruits of all his increase as it says in Proverbs 3:9 WEB.
We are praying for your son and trusting God for his future. We are encouraged knowing that God hears our collective prayers and that He is faithful. We also pray that God will provide better health insurance and advance his career. We agree with you, that the Lord wants the best for each of us and that He is the one who provides these things. It is also our prayer that your son will keep a good attitude and keep a strong work ethic regardless of the employment outcome.
We are glad that you are filled with awe and gratitude for the miracles and blessings in your family's lives. We encourage you to continue to be thankful and grateful in all things, even if the job is not offered to him. We can rejoice in the fact that we can come before God and ask these things.
May the Lord hear our prayers with love.
