Pray for my son ### suffering from addiction

Please pray for my baby boy ###—he’s ### & will be ### next Saturday…. He has been to rehab twice, but keeps having the desire to get high on extreme amounts of any and just about everything. It’s terrifying to keep going through this—not being able to wake him up, finding him everywhere passed out or waking up in the middle of the night finding he is gone. I’m SO scared. He’s so depressed now because of this… his ### year old sister doesn’t even want to be at home anymore because of it. Now we’re at the hospital again… her first time seeing this… please God FILL him with ur spirit so he knows the warmth of ur love. Please heal him. He’s amazing. Thank u for such a beautiful blessing. Help us get through these times and help him come out of this knowing he is fully supported and loved. Thank u amen.

We truly empathize with you and your family's struggle, and we appreciate your urgent request for prayer and support.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with us and is the only one that can completely heal us and bring us back from the darkness. We know that addictions can be debilitating and destructive, but we also know that God is mighty to save and has set us free from the law of sin and death.

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 WEB

We want to encourage you to continue praying and interceding for your ###, and we will stand with you in prayer. However, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Therefore we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. We should also know that it is Jesus Christ himself that died for our sins and rose again to save us. Believing in Jesus Christ is the only way that we can be saved.

We need to be praying that your ### will believe in Jesus Christ if he has not already. We also need to pray that he will turn away from drugs and turn back to God.

We pray for your ###'s complete deliverance and healing from his addiction, Lord. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and strongholds in his life, and we command them to flee in Jesus' name. We ask You to fill him with Your Holy Spirit. We also pray that You will lift the fog in his mind, giving him clarity of thought and purpose.

We are praying that your ### will come to know God more deeply through this experience and that he will be a living example of God's power in his life. We pray that your ### will know that he is loved by God and by you, and that he will find strength and support in that love.

We also pray that you and your family will be strengthened and encouraged during this difficult time. We pray that God will surround you with His peace and comfort, and that He will provide you with the wisdom and resources you need to support your ### through his recovery.

We pray for your ###'s ### as well, that God will give her peace and comfort, and that she will also come to know God more deeply through this experience. We pray that God will restore harmony and joy to your home, and that He will use this experience to draw your family closer to Him and to each other.

As you go to the hospital, pray the Holy Spirit will guide you in how to speak with your ###.

Finally, we want to remind you that you are not alone in this struggle. We are here with you, interceding and praying for your ###'s complete healing and restoration. We also encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your ###'s life, and to trust in His unfailing love and faithfulness.

Again we encourage you to pray and ask God to show you anything that you may change in your life that would be helpful to your ###'s needs.

We would appreciate an update later so that we can continue to pray and guide you through this troubling time.
