We join with you in lifting up Savyl before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Let us remind ourselves of the power of prayer and the promises of God. His word says:
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him, James 1:5 (WEB).
We will be confident therefore and come before the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need, Hebrews 4:16 (WEB).
Consider if IJN was an afterthought in the prayer request. The name of Jesus must be exalted and magnified. For the Bible says:
For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12 (WEB).
And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, John 14:13 (WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Savyl as he prepares for his 12th Board exam. We ask that You grant him confidence in his abilities and give him the wisdom and understanding he needs to excel in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Help him to overcome any weaknesses and fill him with Your strength and courage. Guide him during his exams.
Help him to see that his confidence must come from you. And that it is only in your power that any success or victory can be obtained.
Lord, we declare victory over Savyl's exams in Jesus' name. We trust in Your promise that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Help him to pass in flying colors. We ask all of this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
We encourage Savyl to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways he should acknowledge God, and He will make his paths straight, Proverbs 3:5,6 (WEB). Remind him to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let his requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6,7 (WEB).
Lastly, It is wonderful that Anonymous knows to pray in Jesus' name. We make sure to remind Anonymous to continue to pray for Savyl's salvation if he is not already a Christian.
