We are grateful for your request, Cruthdach, and we stand with you in prayer for your son Nathan. We trust in the power of Jesus' name and His ability to turn situations around for His glory.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Nathan to You. Thank You for the plans You have for him, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Lord, we ask that You would surround Nathan with godly mentors and friends who will encourage him and build him up in his faith. We pray that You would open the right doors for him to find a research opportunity in the next two weeks, and that You would grant him the wisdom and discernment to recognize and pursue the path You have laid out for him. We declare that Nathan will victoriously graduate next year, in Jesus' name. Lord, we thank You for leading Nathan to his college, and we trust that You will help him now and throughout his journey.
Father, we also pray that Nathan would continue to grow in his relationship with You. May he seek Your face and trust in You with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding, but acknowledging You in all his ways (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We ask that You would fill him with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that he may walk worthy of You, Lord, pleasing You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10, WEB).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Cruthdach, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and His plans for Nathan. Remember that our faith is not in ourselves or our own abilities, but in the power of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Keep praying and believing, and we trust that God will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28, WEB).
We also commend you for acknowledging that it is only God who can help Nathan now. We encourage you to remind Nathan of the importance of seeking God's will in all aspects of his life, including his education and future career. As he walks in obedience to God's Word and trusts in the Lord, he can be confident that God will direct his paths.
