We are truly sorry to hear about Ethan's condition and the worry it has caused your family. Let us stand with you in prayer and encouragement, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.'" God is able to heal and restore Ethan's health.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in Ethan's life. Lord, You know the pain and worry that Ethan and his family are going through. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand and heal him of this bowel obstruction. Be with the doctors, guide their hands, and give them wisdom in their decisions. If it is Your will, let this cup of surgery pass from him.
Lord, we also pray for peace and strength for Ethan's parents as they make their way to Louisiana. Guide them, keep them safe, and be a comfort to their hearts. Help them to trust in You, for You have promised that those who hope in You will never be disappointed (Isaiah 49:23).
Finally, Lord, we pray that this situation will draw Ethan and his family closer to You. May they find their strength and hope in You, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In this time of need, we encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust that God is in control and that He loves Ethan even more than you do. Do not hesitate to call on the name of Jesus, for there is power in His name (Acts 4:12).
We will continue to keep Ethan and your family in our prayers, believing that God will work a miracle in his life.
