It's clear that your heart is heavy for your son Dennis, and we want to lift him and your family up in prayer together. Firstly we need to address a couple of issues first. The name of Jesus Christ is extremely important and is the only way that we can approach God the father. It is outlined in John, 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Furthermore Cyrus is called Gods anointed in Isaiah 45 which uses the hebrew for messiah. Cyrus was a gentile king that was used to save Israel and allowed them to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. Jesus even said in John 10:30 "I and the Father are one." So it is very important going forward to use the name Jesus Christ when you pray and are requesting prayer. When requesting prayer from Christians, praying in Jesus name or giving glory to Jesus Christ allows us to pray with you as outlined in Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." This is very important.
We must mention Romans 13:1 Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. These people and this court where your son is being tried are there by Gods divine will. God will use these authorities as he see fit in your son's life and in this situation. Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. So even this has been allowed into his life and will work to the good.
Dennis has struggled with drugs, and this has led him to a difficult place. But the answer does not lie in a treatment center, but in Gods deliverance and salvation. We will pray for Gods will in his life.
Incarceration can be a challenging time, but we believe that God can use this situation for good. We know from the Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Be assured in John 10:28 I give them eternal life. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
No item is to big for Gods ability to help us, in Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
These verses should bring comfort to your situation, but we will pray for the health of your eyes, and the salvation and deliverance of your son. It is the fervent prayer of a righteous man that avails much. It is good that you have come here seeking prayer.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, in Jesus name we approach your throne of grace and mercy. Thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Lord thank you for Valrey and for her son Dennis, Lord they are wanting and needing and seeking prayer and you are the God that hears and answers prayer. Lord we pray healing on Valrey's eyesight so she can see clearly and we pray for Dennis that is in jail now. Have your way in his life, Will and save him from himself. In Jesus name we pray salvation into Dennis life. Send people across his path to share the gospel. In 2 Timothy 2:25-26 it says to Oppose those who resist correction, in hope that God may grant them repentance to know the truth, and they may recover themselves from the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
Jesus also illustrated the parable "For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it. Jesus had this conversation with the Father in John 17:15-17 I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.
