We understand your heartfelt concern for your son, ###, and we join you in lifting him up to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of the prodigal son's story in Luke 15:11-32 (WEB), where a father patiently and lovingly waits for his son's return. Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to intercede for ###. Lord, we ask that You surround him with Your angels and keep him close to You. We know that You love him even more than we do and that Your plans for him are good, to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

We pray that You guide his steps and lead him back home, just like the prodigal son. Help him to turn away from any path that is not aligned with Your will and to seek Your face. We ask that You soften his heart and draw him close to You, Lord.

We also pray for ###, who loves and misses her son dearly. Father, grant her peace and comfort, and help her to trust in You with all her heart, leaning not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
