We join you in lifting up your son, Dennis, before God's throne of grace. It's evident that you're hurting and concerned, and we want to stand with you in prayer and encouragement.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God is faithful. He promises in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." We can trust that God has His angels watching over Dennis.
However, we want to gently remind you that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as Jesus teaches us in John 16:23, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." So, let's pray accordingly, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
We also want to encourage you to trust God with Dennis's happiness and well-being. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." God loves Dennis even more than you do, and He wants the best for him.
Now, let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Dennis to You, asking that You keep him safe, surround him with Your angels, and guide his steps. We pray that You would comfort Valfyl's heart and dry her tears, giving her peace and patience as she waits to hear from her son. We ask that You would move in Dennis's heart, prompting him to reach out to his mother soon. We trust that You are working in his life and that Your plans for him are good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust God, Valfyl. He is working, even when it's hard to see. Keep your hope in Him, and remember, He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His good will.
