We join you in lifting up your sister Shadia to the throne of grace, knowing that nothing is impossible with God. The Bible tells us, "He who was seated on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.'" (Revelation 21:5 WEB)
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this request in Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find salvation and hope (John 14:6).
We pray, dear Lord, that You will deliver Shadia from the bondage of alcohol and drug addiction. Just as You set the captives free, we claim that freedom for Shadia. May Your Spirit convict her heart and draw her to You. We ask that You open a door for her to enter a rehabilitation program and give her the strength and resolve to complete it.
We also pray for her son, Anthony. Father, be a strong presence in his life and surround him with godly influences. We ask that Shadia will be transformed into a loving, responsible mother who fears the Lord. May she become a testimony of Your saving grace and redemption.
We encourage you to hold onto the promises of God, trusting that He is faithful. Remember, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up." (Galatians 6:9 WEB) Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting.
Lastly, we gently remind you to ensure that Shadia is not living in fornication, as this is also against God's will. Pray that if she is, she will turn from this and seek godly relationships. As the Bible says, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray these things. Amen.
