Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your divine intervention in the relationship between ### and ###. Your Word tells us in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Lord, we pray that You soften their hearts towards one another, replacing any hardness or bitterness with love and understanding.
Lord, we seek Your peace that surpasses all understanding as described in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May this peace reign in their relationship, bringing tranquility and harmony.
Father, we also ask for forgiveness to flow freely between them, as You have taught us in Colossians 3:13, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Let them be quick to forgive and slow to anger, reflecting Your grace.
We pray for good communication and faithfulness, as Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." May their words be life-giving, fostering trust and mutual respect.
Lord, we lift up their desire to marry and ask that Your will be done in their lives, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 7:9, "But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion." Guide them in Your wisdom and timing, that they may honor You in their relationship.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
