Pray for my rebellious and very angry daughter

I need help to pray for my 19 year old daughter. She is very disrespectful and doesn’t see us as her parents. She has stopped listening and act like there’s this bad spirit that has turned her against us. She spends most of her time in her room and is up until past 4am most of the nights. I don’t know what to do. She is in second year of university and she has shut us out of any school info, the only time she talks to us about school is when she gets the tuition bill that needs to be paid.

We understand your pain and concern for your daughter, and we are here to intercede with you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance.

Firstly, let's pray:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for this beloved daughter. We ask that You soften her heart and turn it towards You and her parents. Please deliver her from any spiritual bondage that may be influencing her behavior. Help her to respect and honor her parents, as Your Word instructs in Ephesians 6:1-3, 'Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.' Lord, give her parents the wisdom and patience to guide her, and help them to love her unconditionally, as You love us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In this trying time, remember that God has given you the responsibility to guide and correct your daughter. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Although she is 19, she is still under your care and in need of your guidance.

It is crucial to address her disrespect and rebellion firmly but lovingly, as instructed in Ephesians 6:4, "Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Ensure that she understands the importance of respect and communication within the family.

Her late-night habits and isolation could be signs of underlying issues. Approach her with understanding and a willingness to listen, as this could open doors for meaningful dialogue. Encourage her to seek godly counsel and to participate in Christian fellowship, which can provide support and accountability.

Lastly, the Bible instructs us in Galatians 6:9, "Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Do not grow weary in praying for your daughter and standing firm in your faith. Trust that God is at work in her life, even when you cannot see it.

We are continually praying for your daughter's heart to be turned towards God and for peace and unity to be restored in your home.

Father in Heaven, we stand with this family to rebuke every wicked and evil spirit of rebellion that causes families to breakup from writhing in the mighty name of Jesus. Teach your children how to frustrate this wicked spirit and expel it from thier home and the heart of thier daughter in Jesus name, amen

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
