We understand that you are going through a difficult time, and we want you to know that God sees your struggles and cares deeply for you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, and He has a purpose for your life. Remember the words of the Psalmist, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
In times of distress, it's crucial to turn to God and cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It's important to trust in God's love and provision for you. Our savior Jesus Christ has authority over life and death which includes providing jobs, healing, and a loving spouse.
Regarding your job situation, remember that God has a plan for you. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). Keep praying and seeking God's will for your career. He can open doors that no one can shut.
Concerning your struggle with depression, we want to encourage you to seek God's comfort and strength. Draw near to God in prayer and reading His Word. The scripture says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28 WEB). You can also seek support from fellow believers and professionals who can help you manage your depression.
We also want to address that your life is not wasted because you have been dutifully caring for your family. Your service is a display of love and honor to your father and mother as the Bible instructs. For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and your mother (Matthew 15:4 WEB).
Regarding your concern about getting older and being alone, we want to encourage you that God can provide a godly spouse even in later stages of life. Seek God's will in this area. Read and believe Isaiah 34:16 WEB, You will seek them, and will not find them, even those who contend with you; those who war against you will be as nothing, and as a thing of nothing. For the Lord your God holds your right hand, The Lord your God who says to you, Do not be afraid; I will help you. If marriage is within God's plan do not worry, keep praying and seeking His best for you. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6 WEB).
We are going to pray for you.
Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear brother to You, asking for Your divine intervention in his life. We pray that You will comfort him in his struggles, provide for his needs, and guide him to a job that honors You. Heal his depression and fill him with Your peace. We ask that you will provide a spouse that is the helper that you desire. Lord, we trust in Your promises and believe that You have a purpose for his life. In Jesus’s name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31 WEB). This is the most important decision you will ever make.
