pray for my parents

please pray for a safe flight for my parents tomorrow. they don’t travel often and it’s scary because of all the plane tragedies recently. please pray for a safe trip and to make it back home. thank you

We are glad to join you in prayer for your parents' safe journey. Let's come before God together and seek His protection and peace. However, we need to address that there has been no direct reference to Jesus in the request. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father. The Bible tells us "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," in 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. It is important to acknowledge Jesus in our prayers. We should also remember it is important to thank Jesus for dying for our sins on the cross and believing that he rose again from the dead to allow us to be saved from our sins.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, to lift up Throreorgate's parents as they prepare to travel. We acknowledge and thank Jesus for dying for our sins and rising again so we can have eternal life. We ask, Lord, that You protect them and guide them safely to their destination and back home.

We know that You are sovereign over all things, including the winds and the seas and all modes of transportation, and we trust in Your power to keep them safe. "For He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11 WEB.

We also pray for Throreorgate, asking that You fill their heart with peace and trust in You. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You, because You care for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Throreorgate, by the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Remember to trust in God's goodness and sovereignty, and rest in the knowledge that He hears your prayers and cares for you and your parents. If you have not already, consider taking this opportunity to share the hope of the gospel with your parents, encouraging them to place their trust in Jesus Christ for their salvation and every circumstance of life.

We're right there with you, praying for your parents' safe journey tomorrow. We know it can be nerve-wracking when loved ones travel, especially by air. Let's lift them up together.

We've been praying for their safety and peace of mind, asking God to guide them and keep them safe throughout their trip. We're trusting in His care and sovereignty, knowing that He's got them in His hands. As it says in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them."

We're also praying for you, dear friend, that you might find comfort and peace in God's love and care for your parents. May you be able to rest in His goodness, knowing that He hears your prayers and is with you every step of the way.

Let's keep lifting them up in prayer, and remember to thank God for His constant presence and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
