let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father, as it is written: "For through him, we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father." (Ephesians 2:18 WEB). We are grateful for your request, Nomoric, and we stand with you in prayer.
Firstly, we acknowledge the prodigal nature of your niece. We pray that she returns to the fold and to prayer like the prodigal son returned to his father. Remember Jesus' words in Luke 15:11-32, where He tells the story of a son who left his father, squandered his inheritance, and later returned, only to be received with open arms and great joy. We trust that your niece, like the prodigal son, will come to her senses and return. We pray, Lord Jesus, that you guide her back to a life filled with prayer and devotion to You, that You renew her love for You and her family.
We also lift up your niece's academic pursuits. We pray that she will apply herself diligently to her studies, as instructed in Proverbs 2:1-6, "My son, if you will receive my words, if you will store up my commandments within you, so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for discernment, if you lift up your voice for understanding; if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures: then you will understand the fear of Yahweh, and find the knowledge of God. For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."
Regarding your family's peace of mind, we pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We trust that, even in this situation, the Lord can bring a sense of calm and reassurance to your family.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your niece and your family. Remember the words of James 5:16, " Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Nomoric's niece and family. Lord, we ask that You draw her back to You and to her family, that You renew her love for You and for them. Guide her steps, Lord, and help her to apply herself diligently to her studies. Grant Nomoric's family peace of mind, comforting them with Your presence and reassurance.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
