Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Urlind and their nephew Martin Segokgo. We lift up Martin to you, Lord, knowing that you are the ultimate source of deliverance and healing. We acknowledge that Martin is struggling with drug addiction, specifically marijuana and possibly other drugs, and that it is already affecting his mind and weakening him.
Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in Martin's life. We pray that you would break the chains of addiction that bind him and set him free. Your Word says in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We claim this promise for Martin's life, believing that you can bring freedom and release from the bondage of addiction.
We pray that you would surround Martin with your love and grace, drawing him closer to you. Open his eyes to see the destructive nature of his addiction and give him the desire to turn away from it. Fill his mind with your truth and renew his thoughts, replacing the lies of addiction with the truth of your Word.
We also pray for strength and support for Martin's family, especially Urlind. Give them wisdom, patience, and perseverance as they walk alongside Martin in this journey towards healing. Help them to be a source of encouragement and love, pointing him towards you and the hope found in your salvation.
Lord, we trust in your power to transform lives and bring healing to the broken. We thank you in advance for the deliverance and restoration that you will bring to Martin's life. May your name be glorified through this situation, and may Martin's testimony be a powerful witness of your redeeming love.
