We are truly saddened to hear about your mother's current spiritual state, and we appreciate your heartfelt concern for her salvation. We are reminded of John 14:6, which states:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Your mother's belief that she is okay going to hell rather than believing in Jesus is indeed troubling. We must remember that God does not desire that anyone should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. It is important for your mother to understand that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, and without Him, eternal separation from God awaits.
The issue of idol worship, including Buddhist rituals and even her mobile phone, is a serious one. God's word is clear in Exodus 20:3-5:
You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, WEB, your God, am a jealous God.
Your mother's self-centeredness, stemming from the false religion of Buddhism, needs to be addressed through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray that God will reveal to her the truth about Jesus Christ and the futility of idol worship.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the mother of Dexter2020. We ask, Father, that You open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel and the reality of eternal separation from You without Jesus Christ. Break the strongholds of idol worship and self-centeredness in her life, and reveal to her the love and salvation found only in Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray that You will show her that the religion of her parents and the worship of idols are false and cannot save her. Draw her to Yourself, Father, and give her a heart that longs for You.
We also pray for Dexter2020, that You will give them the wisdom and courage to witness to their mother and to stand firm in their faith. Use them as a beacon of light and truth in their mother's life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Dexter2020, to continue praying fervently for your mother and to share the Gospel with her in love and truth. God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Trust in His perfect will and timing. Romans 10:9 says, if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Be ready to confess Jesus as Lord to your mother.
