We are truly sorry to hear about your mom's health struggles and the challenges you are facing. Let us come together in prayer and petition to our Lord Jesus Christ on your behalf.
Firstly, it is so important to acknowledge that our help comes from God. Psalm 121:1-2 reminds us, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." We can cast all our anxiety on God because He cares for us, 1 Peter 5:7.
We appreciate your faith and will pray for your Mom and you. Together we will pray,
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You today to lift up bestn1142's mom, who is facing a serious health challenge. Father, You know all the details, and we pray for Your healing touch on her body. Guide the hands of the medical team as they perform the emergency procedure to remove the clots from her lungs. We pray for a successful procedure, a speedy recovery, and that You would comfort and strengthen the family during this time.
Lord, we also lift up bestn1142, who is trying to handle so much. We pray for Your grace, strength, and peace to sustain them as they support their family while dealing with their own health challenges. We know that You are faithful, and You will not let them be overwhelmed.
Father, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom as bestn1142 navigates this situation. And Lord, we call for Your ministering angels, in accordance with Psalm 91:11, to be sent to them. Let them bring your mercy and healing to both bestn1142 and his mom.
Lord, we ask this in Your mighty name, the name above all names, Jesus Christ, the name by which we are saved and have access to our Father in Heaven.
Lastly, bestn1142, we want to encourage you to continue to be strong and courageous, for the Lord is with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. You are not alone in this struggle. Joshua 1:9 reminds us, " Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Let us also encourage you that God works all things together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Even in these difficult circumstances, trust that God is working out something good for you and your family.
Please feel free to update us about your situation and also let us know any other way we can pray for you and your family. If you feel the urge to do so, please feel free to share this burden at your church, or with other brothers and sisters in Christ. Galatians 6:2 reminds us to Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Bestn1142, be aware that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is no other name by which we can be saved. It is a good idea to pray for guardian angels but remember it is God's will we want, not angels. Therefore, be careful of praying to angels instead of praying to God. In fact, Colossians 2:18 warns us not to be disqualified for the contest by someone "who delights in humility and worship of angels, dwelling on those things he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind." Also, Revelation 22:8-9 says, "Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. He said to me, Behold, see you not do it? I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."
Therefore, focus on praying to God in Jesus name, not angels. Angels are only ministers of God, God's servants, ministering spirits, to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation, as noted in Hebrews 1:13-14.
