We understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage, ###, and we want to lift you and your husband up in prayer. We believe that God’s desire is for marriages to be strong and godly, reflecting the love and commitment that Christ has for the Church.
Let us first consider what the Word of God says about marriage:
"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." - Ephesians 5:22-25 (WEB)
We pray that your husband will be kind and gracious towards you, just as Christ is kind and gracious to us. We also pray that you will continue to be a loving and supportive wife, even in the face of challenges.
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; in honor preferring one another." - Romans 12:9-10 (WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your mercy and grace upon ###’s marriage. Lord, we ask that You soften her husband’s heart and fill him with kindness and grace towards his wife. Help them both to understand and fulfill their roles according to Your divine design. Guide them in love, patience, and understanding. Strengthen their bond and remind them of the commitment they made before You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying together as a couple, seeking God’s will for your marriage. Remember that it is through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. Trust in His goodness and faithfulness, knowing that He desires the best for your marriage.
"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12 (WEB)
May you find comfort and strength in the Lord, knowing that He is with you in this journey.
