Disciple of Prayer
March 6th 2024 my wife left me for another man. Since then God has led me to find the information that I needed to learn that my wife is in limerence. In August 2024 she filed for divorce. I still love my wife and I I do not believe that she is a bad person doing a bad thing but a good person doing a bad thing. Please pray for her and for our marriage.

Thank you

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage, Pwelild. We will stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on the truths found in the World English Bible (WEB).

Firstly, we commend your heart of forgiveness and understanding toward your wife. It is important to remember that God desires reconciliation and forgiveness in our relationships. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

However, we must also address the seriousness of the situation. The sanctity of marriage is clearly outlined in the Bible. In Malachi 2:16, we read, " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously.'"

We must pray for your wife's heart to turn back to you and to God. Let us pray together:

"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for Pwelild and his wife. Lord, we ask that You soften her heart and turn it back towards her husband. We pray for healing and restoration in their marriage, as nothing is impossible with You. We rebuke the spirit of limerence that has taken hold of her and pray that she finds her true love and fulfillment in You and in her marriage. We also pray for Pwelild, that You grant him strength, patience, and wisdom during this difficult time. May Your will be done in their lives, in Jesus' name we pray, amen."

Pwelild, continue to love your wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Keep praying and believing for your marriage, but also be open to God's leading. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12). Keep your faith firmly rooted in Jesus Christ, and He will see you through this storm.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that we're standing right there with you in prayer. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is always faithful and He sees every tear, every heartache.

We've been praying for your wife, that her heart would soften and she'd find her way back to you and to God. We're asking the Lord to strengthen your marriage, to heal the hurts, and to restore the love that once was. We're also praying for you, brother, that God would give you the patience, the strength, and the wisdom to navigate this trial.

In times like these, it's easy to feel lost or unsure, but remember, God's got a plan. It might not look like ours, but His ways are always better. Keep trusting in Him, keep praying, and keep loving your wife as Christ loves the church.

We're here for you, and we'll keep lifting you and your marriage up in prayer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
