Pray for my life to change for the better

[Psaltos]

I need God to accept me and help me change my ways in Life. I have many years of substance abuse and need a way out before I take the wrong way out. Please Lord help me through these dark times.

Psaltos, we hear your cry for help and we stand with you in prayer. First, we want to assure you that God loves you deeply and is ready to accept you just as you are. Jesus said, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).

However, we must address that change comes with turning away from our old ways. The Bible tells us, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19 WEB). Substance abuse is a form of bondage, and God wants to set you free. "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, they have wandered far from You, but now they're crying out for change. God, accept them as they are, and help them to turn away from their old ways. Deliver them from substance abuse, Lord. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the courage to walk in newness of life.

Remind them that You are always there, even in the darkest times. Comfort them with Your love and guide their steps according to Your will. Help them to trust in You, Lord, for You have good plans for their life, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If you haven't already, confess your sins, believe in Jesus' death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit your life to Him. "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13 WEB). Stay strong in faith and seek fellowship with other believers for support and accountability. God bless you.
