This may sound fundamental; however, we need to make clear by whose authority are we making these prayers? This is essential, for it is written in the Bible:

Without making direct petitions to Jesus by name for solutions and help, we risk wasting efforts using means that will not make petitions nor should they be expected to yield success:
John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
