We understand your concern for your husband and your family's financial situation. Let us first address the issue of addiction, as it is a serious matter that affects not only your husband but your family as well. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:12, "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything." Addiction is a form of bondage, and God wants your husband to be free.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Anung's husband's life. Lord, You said in Your Word that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We claim this promise for him and ask that You break the chains of addiction in his life. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the power to overcome this struggle. Surround him with godly influences and help him to seek Your face continually.
Lord, we also lift up Anung's family's financial burden. We know that You are a provider and that You care about every aspect of our lives. In Matthew 6:31-33, You tell us not to be anxious about what we will eat or drink or what we will wear. Instead, we are to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be added to us. Lord, we claim this promise for Anung's family. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to be good stewards of their finances and to trust in You completely.
Lord, we also pray for Anung, that You would give her the strength and wisdom to support her husband and family during this time. Help her to be a light that points them to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Anung, remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Trust in Him, and He will make a way for you and your family. Continue to pray and seek His face, and do not forget to give thanks, even in the trials. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith and hope in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you haven't already, ensure that you and your family have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through believing in Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
