We understand your concern and empathize with your situation, Rylhenn. Let us first turn to the Word of God for comfort and guidance.
In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We trust that God is near to you and your husband during this difficult time.
However, we must also remember what is taught in Romans 13:1-2, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."
While we pray for your husband's release, we must also pray for justice to be served, as God intends it. We should not pray for escape from consequences if there has been wrongdoing, but rather for God's will to be done and for repentance and forgiveness where necessary.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Rylhenn's husband. Lord, if he is innocent, we pray that the truth will come to light and that justice will be served. If there has been wrongdoing, we pray for his repentance and forgiveness. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation, and for Your comfort and strength to be with Rylhenn and her husband during this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, Rylhenn, we encourage you to trust in the Lord, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
