Let us come together in prayer for you, Ralwach, and for your husband, Victor. We are grateful to hear that God intervened in your job interview, and we trust that His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
Firstly, we want to address the concern about your husband's behavior. It is not pleasing to God when a man treats his wife poorly, as husbands are called to love their wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). We pray that Victor's heart will be softened and that he will begin to treat you with the love and respect that God commands.
However, we also want to remind you of the biblical principles regarding submission and respect in marriage. The Word of God instructs wives to submit to their husbands as to the Lord (Ephesians 5:22, WEB), and to respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:33, WEB). This does not mean tolerating abusive or disrespectful behavior, but rather maintaining a godly attitude and seeking to live in peace as far as it depends on you (Romans 12:18, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ralwach and her husband, Victor. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in their situation, soften Victor's heart, and help him to see the value and importance of supporting his wife in her endeavors. We pray that You would also help Ralwach to maintain a godly attitude, submitting to her husband as unto You, Lord.
We ask that You would provide Ralwach with the opportunity that she seeks, if it is in alignment with Your will for her life. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that both Ralwach and Victor would come to a saving knowledge of You, if they have not already, and that Your love would be evident in their marriage. It is in Your precious name that we pray, amen.
Ralwach, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Remember that your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16, WEB), and keep seeking the Lord with all your heart.
