Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Othemia and their prayer request. Lord, we ask that you would open doors of opportunity for Othemia's husband to find a job soonest. We pray specifically for a well-paying job that will provide for their needs and bless their family abundantly. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." We trust in your faithfulness to provide for their every need.
Furthermore, we lift up Othemia's desire for a better paying job at a big NGO. We ask that you would guide and direct their steps, leading them to the right opportunities. Your Word assures us in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We pray that you would align their desires with your perfect will and grant them favor in their job search.
Lord, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate provider and sustainer of our lives. We ask for your wisdom and discernment for Othemia and their husband as they navigate through this season of seeking employment. May they trust in your timing and have faith that you will provide according to your perfect plan.

May the Lord work in your circumstances, bless you both with the jobs He has chosen for you and help your family experience His peace and joy in a special way during this time. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this comforting thought from the psalmist: "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34: 4).
