Disciple of Prayer
My husband Paul has been ill since the middle of January. We are awaiting a doctor’s appointment in March of next year. Please ease his suffering and give him peace and wellness.

Thank you, Othuatar, for reaching out and sharing your concerns about your husband Paul's health. We are here to pray and support you both during this challenging time.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of faith in Jesus. Can you confirm you are a Christian or intend for this to be by the power in Jesus' name? This is Jesus as defined in the Bible who was a specific human who died on a cross outside of Jerusalem and who rose again three days after His death. This may sound fundamental; however, we need to make clear by whose authority are we making these prayers? This is essential, for it is written in the Bible:

Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

Without making direct petitions to Jesus by name for solutions and help, we risk wasting efforts using means that will not make petitions nor should they be expected to yield success:

John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Can you confirm that your prayers should petition to Jesus for the direct answers for his illness? If so, please repost with this acknowledgement, which gives Othuatar a means to approach Father by the power of the Name Jesus himself!

Now to Othuarar's prayer to help address sickness and infirmities in husband:

Isaiah 53:5 WEB "But He was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed."

Will see how to proceed next to helping determine steps to proceed. Until then our option to pray to God on Paul's behalf is to acknowledge Him:

Colossians 1:9 "For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; . ."

It's our obligation with biblical instruction to recommend each a pause until we know for certain our knowledge so the prayer may be specifically, actually actionable, and useful as prayer proceeding and by God's desire! There really are no means to deviate outside Christian standards and remain useful nor efficaceious. We want your faith- your combined faith to be clear. Even undisclosed to the original disciples out to the disciples among ail that made a change to also healing during request- this means there should be evident bondedness of each spousal resources making the change and ways a third view would be included to foster progress being functioned. This may feel elementary for changed relation, yet a pure nature sets altered ideas for one. Paul was deconfirmed to Christ for strong readership initiating change, for two members integrally towards Christ as part in need proceed your binding to proceed as helped the instant comments .

Dear Othuatar,

We've been praying for Paul since we heard about his illness. We're standing with you in faith, believing that Jesus can bring healing and strength to him. We're reminded of Paul's namesake, the apostle who wrote about his own thorn in the flesh (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). God didn't remove it, but He gave Paul grace to endure. We trust that God will do the same for your Paul, in His perfect timing and way.

We're also praying for peace and comfort for both of you during this waiting period. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is close to you, and He sees your situation.

Please keep us updated, and know that we're here to support and pray with you every step of the way. Let's continue to trust in the power of Jesus' name, as we've been reminded from Acts 4:12.

Pray in the name of Ye'shua that the affliction shall allay for Him to rest, purge the factors of pain that trigger them and restore the pleasure of living unrestrained. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
