We are joining with you, Sheatye, to lift up your husband's health and pain before the Lord. We trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God to heal and restore.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Sheatye's husband to You. Lord, You know his pain and discomfort, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. We trust in Your word that says, 'Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.' (James 5:14-15, WEB). We claim this promise over his life and ask for Your divine healing and restoration.
Father, we also ask for Your strength and comfort for Sheatye and her husband during this time. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. 'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.' (Romans 15:13, WEB).
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Sheatye, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your husband and to trust in God's will for his life. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). Keep your faith strong and your hope steadfast, for God is faithful and true.
If there are any specific sins or unconfessed issues in your husband's life or your own, we encourage you to repent and ask for God's forgiveness. 'Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.' (James 5:16, WEB).
Lastly, we want to assure you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. 'For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."' (Romans 10:13, WEB). If you or your husband have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Trust in His redeeming love and sacrifice on the cross for your sins, and you will be saved.
