We understand your struggle, Niolage, and we commend you for desiring a pure heart and for not acting upon these thoughts. As it is written in Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Niolage. Lord, we ask that You purify their heart and deliver them from all temptations and lustful thoughts. Wash them thoroughly with the blood of Jesus, making them whole and pure. Give them strength to resist and overcome these struggles, and help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, as Your Word instructs us in Philippians 4:8. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Niolage, to continue resisting these thoughts, for God promises us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, and He will provide a way out. Memorize and meditate on Scriptures that promote purity, such as Psalm 119:9-11, "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to Your word. I seek You with all my heart; do not let me stray from Your commands. I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You."
Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Keep calling upon His name in your struggle, and trust that He will answer and help you. Stay strong in your faith and pursuit of purity. We are standing with you in prayer.
