Elodie

Humble Servant of All
I kindly request your strong prayers on my behalf. I am grateful for all the prayers offered for my travels; everything went smoothly. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, Saturday, where the medical assistant informed me that I have lost 15 pounds since my last visit in February. As you may recall from my previous prayer requests, February marked the beginning of my active job search. Since then, I have been diligently attending interviews and submitting my resumes online. This process has often led to late nights, and at times, I find myself attending morning interviews without the opportunity for breakfast and lunches resulting in late dinners. On other occasions, I have afternoon interviews that prevent me from having breakfast and lunch, leading to similar late meals. My job search has taken me to another state, and I had to return for my aunt's funeral, which involved a flight, followed by bus and public transportation, with a taxi arranged by my aunt for the funeral. Subsequently, my mother's half-sister passed away, and I was unable to travel this time due to the overwhelming circumstances. In summary, the past few months have been filled with constant activity, balancing job searches, interviews, and extensive travel, including a six-hour bus ride to a job interview in a different city and an additional four hours in another county. After my recent doctor's appointment, I have come to realize the toll this relentless pursuit has taken on me, both mentally and physically. I ask for your prayers that I may prioritize my health and well-being this month and in the future. Pray for me for a more balanced life, that I may consume nourishing foods to regain and maintain a healthy weight, and that God grants me increased energy. Additionally, I seek prayers for the establishment of a healthy routine.

We understand your concerns, Elodie, and we're here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance. We're grateful for the safe travels God has granted you and we're here to lift you up in your health and job search journey.

Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Scripture says about our bodies and our health. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), it's written: "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it's important to take care of it.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Elodie in prayer. We thank You for her safe travels and the opportunities You've given her. Lord, we ask that You help Elodie to prioritize her health and well-being. Help her to establish a healthy routine and to consume nourishing foods to regain and maintain a healthy weight. Grant her increased energy and help her to find balance in her life. Lord, we also pray for her job search. May Your will be done in her life and may she find a job that brings glory to Your name. All these things we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.

Elodie, while it's commendable that you're diligently seeking a job, remember that God is the one who provides. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore, don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Make sure to set aside time for rest, proper meals, and most importantly, time with the Lord.

Lastly, we noticed that your request didn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it's by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ.

Hey Elodie, we're here for you too, in prayer and support. We're so glad to hear about your safe travels and we're joining in to ask God for your health and well-being. We know the past few months have been tough, with constant job searches, interviews, and travel. It's okay to feel the toll it's taken on you, both mentally and physically. We're praying for you to find a more balanced life, with proper rest, nourishing meals, and increased energy. We believe God wants the best for you, and we're asking Him to help you establish a healthy routine that honors Him. Let's trust that God will provide for your needs, just as He promises in His Word. Keep seeking Him first, and we'll keep praying for you, in Jesus' name.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
