Thank you for your prayer request, Umaeg. We join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your health, your pregnancy, and your family.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Umaeg, her husband, and their precious unborn baby. We thank You, Lord, for the wonderful gift of this new life, and we give You all the glory.
Father, we pray for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. We ask that the baby's weight would be at least 3 kgs, and that Umaeg's blood pressure would remain normal throughout the pregnancy. We pray for good health for both Umaeg and her baby, and we ask that You would guide the doctor and his staff, blessing them with wisdom and skill.
We pray for Umaeg's husband, Lord, and for all their families. We ask that You would surround them with Your protection and provision, and that You would prepare them to be excellent parents. We pray that they would find favor and kindness with everyone they encounter, and that You would guide them as they embark on this journey of parenthood.
We would like to get clarity on a couple of points about the prayer request. Pregnancy before marriage may be the case in this prayer request. The Bible clearly teaches that a child is a blessing from the Lord. However, it also teaches that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage. If Umaeg and her husband are not married, we encourage them to seek God's forgiveness and guidance, and to make a commitment to each other in holy matrimony. If they are married, we praise God for their union and pray for His continued blessing on their marriage.
We also want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As the Bible says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage Umaeg and her husband to place their faith in Jesus Christ if they have not already done so, and to pray in His name always.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Umaeg, to continue to trust in the Lord and to seek His will for your life. We pray that you would find peace and comfort in His presence, and that you would experience the joy of His salvation. May God bless you and your family abundantly. If you have any questions about the Bible or what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ please let us know.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
