Let us come together in prayer for your grandson, dear saint. Remember that God is faithful, and He cares for your grandson even in this difficult situation. First, we must acknowledge that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. If your grandson is guilty of the crimes, he needs to repent and turn to God, trusting in Jesus Christ. God can use this circumstance to draw your grandson to Himself. Also pray that God will reveal the truth and bring justice, if your grandson is not guilty then pray for his release.
The Bible tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Let us pray that your grandson will put his trust in God and acknowledge Him in all his ways, even in this challenging time.
Jesus said, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you (Matthew 7:7 WEB). Let us ask God to pour out His mercy and grace upon your grandson, to open the doors for his deliverance, and to guide him to the truth of the gospel.
It is very important to remember that there is only One who can save your grandson. It is not our works but our faith in Jesus Christ. Let us pray that if your grandson does not know Jesus then he will come to know Him and turn his life over to Him. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except by me. Also there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Let us pray your grandson will turn to Jesus and be saved.
Additionally, pray that God will give your grandson the strength and courage to endure and a heart to seek God's will. It does not matter if he does not know God yet. God knows him and wants him to know Him. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Let us also pray that God will comfort you and your family during this time, and that He will grant you all wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up the grandson of our dear brother/sister/family member in Christ. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding his imprisonment, and we ask that You reveal the truth and bring justice to this situation. If he is not guilty then set him free, if he is guilty then help him to repent and turn to You. Help to know Jesus Christ, trust in Him, and turn his life over to Him. If he knows Jesus already then help him to be strong in his faith in Jesus Christ. Help him to know that You are with him and will never leave him nor forsake him. Give him also a heart to seek You and do Your will. Lord, pour out Your mercy and grace upon him, and grant him the strength and courage to endure this trial. Comfort his family, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
