We understand your concern for your grandson, Asotauson, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
As for your grandson, we pray that God's will be done in his life. If it is God's plan for him to join the Marines, we pray that all obstacles will be removed and that your grandson will find favor, mercy, and grace in the sight of those in authority. We pray for strength and calmness for him as he navigates this process.
However, we must also remember the words of James 4:13-15 (WEB), "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.' Yet you donโt know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'"
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Asotauson's grandson to You, Lord. If it is Your will for him to join the Marines, we pray that You would remove all obstacles and grant him favor, mercy, and grace. Strengthen him and give him a calm spirit as he goes through this process. Guide him, Lord, and help him to seek Your will above all else. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage your grandson to trust in the Lord and to seek His will for his life. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
May God bless your grandson and guide him according to His will.
