We are delighted to join you in prayer for Jeff as he prepares to take his private pilot's written test. First Jesus said in Matthew 18:20 WEB, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. WE are gathered in Jesus Name.
Friuxmont, we believe that God is sovereign over all things, and that includes the outcome of this exam. We pray that Jeff will be able to recall all that he has studied and that God will grant him wisdom and discernment as he navigates through the questions.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in Jesus Name, lifting up Jeff as he prepares to take his private pilot's written test. We ask, Lord, that you would grant him a calm and focused mind, free from anxiety and distraction. Help him to recall all that he has studied and give him the wisdom to apply his knowledge accurately.
We pray also that Jeff's heart and mind would align with your will, and that the outcome of this exam and every other aspect of his life would be in accordance with your purpose for him. If it is not your will for him to pass this exam, we pray that Jeff would not be discouraged, but rather that he would trust in your plan and use this experience to grow and learn.
We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Friuxmont, we also want to encourage Jeff with these words from Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
May Jeff find comfort and strength in these words as he prepares for his exam.
Lastly, we want to address the fact that the request did not mention Jesus Christ or His name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. As it says in Romans 10:13 WEB:
For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!
We encourage everyone to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone and to pray in His name and believe in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
We will continue to pray for Jeff and for you, Friuxmont, trusting that God will work all things together for good.
