Thank you, Foymarrad, for reaching out and for your faith in the power of prayer. We join with you in lifting up your dear father-in-law before the throne of grace.
Let us remember the words of James 514-15 (WEB): "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother in Christ, the father-in-law of Foymarrad. Lord, You know his needs, his pains, and his struggles. We ask, Father, that You touch his body, heal his diabetes and the ulcers on his leg. As You did great miracles in the past, we believe that You can do it again. We claim Your promises, that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed.
Father, we also lift up his financial needs. You know the burden of medical care and treatment. We ask that You provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. We thank You that You are Jehovah Jireh, his provider.
We praise You, Lord, for his strong faith and service as an evangelist. We pray that this trial will be a testimony of Your grace and power. Strengthen his faith, give him comfort and peace, and let Your love envelop him during this time.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and claim healing. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him, says the Lord.
Foymarrad, we encourage you to continue praying fervently, as the effective, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man avails much. Remember the words of Paul in Galatians 69 (WEB): "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up."
Keep your faith strong, and remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 412 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Believe in Jesus Christ, and encourage your father-in-law to continue his faith in Him.
