We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Wayne Holdiness, and we stand with you in prayer during this challenging time. Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:1-3 (WEB): "Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also."
We pray, Dear Heavenly Father, for Wayne Holdiness as he transitions from this life to eternal life with You. We ask that You comfort him with Your presence and grant him peace. Lord, we also lift up the family he leaves behind. Please be their strength and comfort in this time of grief. Help them to cast all their cares on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, peace that can only come from You (Philippians 4:7).
We encourage you, Rhasist, to cling to the promises of God during this time. Though it is painful, remember that for those who believe, death is not the end but a transition into eternal life with Christ. We also remind you to find comfort in the community of believers, sharing each other's burdens as Galatians 6:2 instructs.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our prayers are offered in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If Wayne or anyone in your family has not yet accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for it is only through Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12).
We continue to stand with you in prayer, seeking God's comfort and strength for you and your family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
