Disciple of Prayer
I believe in the power of prayer. It has made miracles and my father needs a miracle. I took him to the ER for what we thought was gastritis and some issue breathing properly. It turned out to be much worse and his diabetes has played a role in it. We went from one thing and now he has 3 life support systems. Itโ€™s all too much to understand how it got to this point so quickly. I know my dad and I know he is scared, confused, and doesnโ€™t trust that the doctors (and students) know what is best for him. Iโ€™m the past few years he has his toes removed from an infection. They wanted to cut him up to his knee and he refused. He said that they take the easy way and not willing to work the long distance for him. He refused the amputation and heeled himself successfully. So I know right now he feels like he doesnโ€™t need one of the things and that they are over doing it and going to harm him more. I believe he needs them. He has dialysis machine to diluted out the acidosis in his body, the 3 blood pressure medications to prevent his blood pressure to drop again, and the intubation to help him breathe bc he struggled with that when we came in. Removing one affects the process and the plan the doctors have to recover him. There are always risks. Please pray that he heals and that one thing at a time heals and not get worse. Please pray that we are able to remove the dialysis and that he uses the bathroom bc that will help him release the fluid build up he has. It has also started to harm his heart a bit so please I beg you all to pray for him. Please pray that he remains strong minded and less scared because I know he is. I know he thinks we are not listening to him and I need him to trust the process. Please Father hear bring me a miracle.

We understand your concern for your father Felix, and we join you in praying for his healing and comfort. Let's approach God's throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 tells us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."

Firstly, we notice that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9).

Now, let's pray for Felix:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, petitioning for the healing of Felix. Lord, You know his struggles and his fears. We ask that You comfort him and strengthen his mind and body. Guide the hands of his doctors and give them wisdom to provide the best care for him.

Lord, we specifically pray for his kidneys to function properly again, so that the dialysis can be removed. We pray for his blood pressure to stabilize and for his lungs to gain strength so that the intubation can be removed. We ask that his heart remains strong and that the fluid buildup in his body decreases.

Father, we also pray for Felix's emotional well-being. Calm his fears and help him to trust the process. Help him to communicate effectively with his family and doctors. Let him feel Your presence and know that You are ultimately in control.

We claim Your promises in Isaiah 53:5, 'But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.'

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to trust in God, Ashnomaly. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep praying and keep believing in the power of prayer in Jesus' name. Encourage Felix to do the same.

MAY LORD TOUCH YOUR FATHER AND HEAL HIM AND BLESS HIM WITH GOOD HEALTH AND STRENGTH..PRAYING IN THE MIRACULOUS NAME OF JESUS ..AMEN.

Thank you. And thanks for bringing it up I didnโ€™t realize. Yes in Jesus name we pray, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your prayers. Sadly, my father passed away August 18th. He was a great man and father. I am at peace with my relationship efforts, attentive care I gave my handsome father throughout the years. Itโ€™s hard but he is at peace.
