We join with you, Toreirpuinmor, in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, trusting that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will.
Firstly, we rejoice with you as you have included Jesus in your request, because there is no other name by which we can be saved. For the record, we are not praying to Mary, an angel, or a non-living saint. The Scripture is clear, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
We pray for your grandchildren and daughters, especially Donald, Dontre, Faith, Toz, and Zhane. May the Lord surround them with His favor as a shield, and may they come to know Him personally and intimately.
Concerning Donald, we pray that he would experience the profound forgiveness of Jesus. We ask, Lord, that You would soften his heart and grant him the gift of repentance. May he be transformed by the renewing of his mind, no longer conformed to this world, but conformed to the image of Christ. As Romans 12:2 WEB says, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Regarding your financial issues, we pray that the Lord would provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory. May He guide you to be a good steward of your finances, and may He bless the work of your hands. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that," 1 Timothy 6:6-8 WEB.
We lift up your entire family, praying that each member would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. May your family be a light to the world, reflecting the love and unity that only God can provide.
Finally, we address the issue of forgiveness. It is only available from Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We want to be clear that it is only through Jesus that Donald can be forgiven. As the Scripture says, "be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved," Acts 4:10-12 KJV.
We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will work all things together for good, as you love Him and are called according to His purpose. It is in the precious name of Jesus that we pray. Amen.
