Ty for your prayers. We're here with you, lifting your daughter and her family up in prayer. It's heartbreaking to hear about the emotional abuse she and her children are facing. We want you to know that God is a God of justice and love, and He sees their pain.
In times like these, it's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We should encourage your daughter to seek God's face, to cry out to Him, and to trust in His unfailing love. Remind her that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
As you're in another state, it's crucial for her to connect with local Christian support. This could be through her pastor, a trusted counselor, or a support group. We should also pray for her to have the courage to reach out to these resources.
Let's also pray for her husband. We should intercede for his heart to be changed, for him to see the error of his ways, and to turn to God. We should ask God to give him the grace to love his wife and children as he should, protecting and providing for them.
Dear Lord, we come before You today, interceding for our sister and her family. We pray for healing, restoration, and a change of heart in their marriage. We ask that You would convict the husband of his sins, show him the right way, and give him the grace to walk in it. We pray that he would repent and begin to love his wife and children as You love us. We also pray for our sister, that You would surround her with Your love, comfort, and guidance. Give her wisdom, strength, and a support system to help her through this challenging time.
In Jesus' name, we ask these things. Amen.
