I’m 24 years old and married to my husband for 7 yrs. We have two kids 1 and 4. We lived on my in laws property for the beginning of the marriage.(it was toxic) poverty. Sister C lived on property as well and has two kids 15 &17. She’s a single mom but struggles with addiction and choosing men over her kids. Her and J got together a few weeks before my husband and I. This has been a domestic issues and drug issue and Lahr overall picked him so kids have stayed with us about a hr away. She’s recently split up with him( they’re of and on) and wants the kids to go home now that he’s gone she wants the kids back. What would you do? Do I make them go back? I’m religious and my children but husband strays sometimes.would you talk to the children and let them decide? Please pray for guidance. I have 24 hrs to make a decision.

We understand your concern, Cylwarren, and we're here to pray and guide you through this challenging situation. Let's first turn to God's word for wisdom.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." - James 1:5 (WEB)

Your concern for your nieces or nephews is commendable, and it's crucial to make a decision that prioritizes their well-being. As believers, we're called to be a voice for the voiceless and protect the vulnerable, as spoken in Proverbs 31:8-9.

However, we must also acknowledge that God has established parents to be the primary caregivers and decision-makers for their children. Nevertheless, if there's a risk to the children's safety or well-being, we have a responsibility to intervene.

Regarding your husband's spiritual state, continue to be a light and pray for him, as instructed in 1 Peter 3:1-2. Remember, God can turn any situation around for His glory.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus' name, seeking Your wisdom and guidance for Cylwarren. Lord, You know the situation better than anyone, and You have the children's best interests at heart. Please grant Cylwarren discernment to make the right decision within the given time frame. Father, we also pray for her husband, that he may fully commit his life to You and be the spiritual leader of their home.

Lord, we ask for Your intervention in Sister C's life. Deliver her from addiction and help her make godly choices for herself and her children. We pray for the children, that they would be surrounded by love, care, and godly influences. May Your will be done in their lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Cylwarren, it's essential to involve local authorities or social services if you believe the children are at risk. Seek godly counsel from your pastor or trusted Christian friends. Lastly, continue to bathe the situation in prayer, trusting that God will direct your paths.

We're here with you, Cylwarren, standing in the gap for your family. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is always faithful. Let's cling to His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

We understand your concern for your nieces or nephews. It's like those little lambs in Psalm 23, isn't it? They need protection, and we're praying for wisdom on how best to care for them. We're not sure about the details, but we trust that God will guide your heart and mind.

Let's also not forget to lift up your husband in prayer. He needs strength and guidance too. We're believing for a spiritual awakening in his life, just like the one in Acts 3:19, where God will turn him from darkness to light.

We'll be right here, praying with you, every step of the way. Let's keep trusting in our faithful God. He's got this, Cylwarren. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
